Final reports are a very important part of Unstoppable Voters. They help you evaluate your work, help us evaluate ours, and set all of us on continued paths towards success.
Your final report has three parts:
- A written report
- A video reflection
- A personal assessment
Expand each of the sections below to get full details. All parts are due by Friday, November 22, 2024.
Know that we want this to be a place where you can celebrate all the amazing things you did. Of course you can be honest about the things that didn’t work and how you feel about that, but we invite you to not let it overshadow all the good that you are and that you made.

Part 1: Written Report
We recommend you draft answers to the questions in a separate space over a few days.
Note that what you write in this section may be used for public-facing materials on our website and other networks.
Part 2: Video Reflection
We want you to process this program — and election cycle — in another way: by making a short video.
Early next year, we’re planning on making a video about your incredible work, thoughts on the election cycle, and hopes and plans for the future. It’ll be a way to get the word further out about all your creativity and all you accomplished, further the reach of the work, and inspire more people to use more creative methods in civic engagement. (Check out the video we made in 2022 here.) So please record a short video. Just on your phone is totally fine!
What to Include
- Introduce yourself. Include your name, title, organization, and location.
- Share about your creative election work. Some ideas for what you could talk about (no need to hit them all, unless you want to!):
- What did you do? How did it go? How did people react?
- What was a wild success you had?
- What is something surprising that happened?
- What significant failure happened and how did you adapt?
- What is a lesson learned and/or something you’d do differently next time?
- Share how you’re feeling and your reaction to what happened this election cycle.
- Close by giving insight on what you’re doing next.
Tech Notes and Assurances
- Use your phone to record the videos, in an area without very loud noises, in a location that feels comfortable and relevant to you.
- Record horizontally.
- Look at the camera lens, not at the screen/yourself (that will guarantee your eyes are looking at the audience).
- Ideally, use headphones to help with sound. It’s ok if the headphone cable appears in the shot.
- You can record a single take, and don’t worry about any “mistakes” — just pick up from where you messed up and we’ll edit accordingly. (You can also send separate clips if that’s easier for you.)
- If you find yourself camera shy and thinking, “I really don’t want to record myself,” please trust that these videos will beautifully highlight the incredible work you’ve done, and that you deserve for your work to be highlighted! Also, we would never use footage you dislike, and we’re going to make you look great (even though you already do that on your own!).

Part 3: Personal Assessment
This is an opportunity to take an honest look at your work, how you’re feeling about it, and what may or may not have changed over the past year. All answers are correct.
We asked you these questions at the start of the program — and now you get to revisit them. Please include your name to help track personal experience, but know that we are in no way judging your responses, and no one outside of C4AA will see them.
