2026 Unstoppable Voters Leader
Shannon Weiss (she/her/hers) is a content strategist and community organizer based in metro Atlanta. She serves on the leadership team of Indivisible Georgia Rising and leads its Creative Protest Action Team, using storytelling, art, and grassroots organizing to engage voters and strengthen civic participation. With a background in filmmaking, content marketing, and public outreach, Shannon is passionate about making democracy more accessible, welcoming, and actionable. She also serves as an Area Manager with DeKalb County Elections, supporting election operations and voter access.
About Indivisible Georgia Rising
Indivisible Georgia Rising works to protect and expand democracy in central and south DeKalb County, Georgia, by reducing barriers to participation, increasing voter engagement, and building a culture of sustained civic action. Powered by approximately 175 volunteers, they engage thousands of residents through door-to-door outreach, voter education, community events, and creative public-facing campaigns. The organization focuses on reaching infrequent and underrepresented voters by making civic information more accessible, relevant, and actionable, while using creativity and storytelling to connect with people beyond traditional political spaces.
