If you’ve been wondering how to invigorate your advocacy teams, get out creative messages that penetrate through the haze, or collaborate in new ways, all at a distance and online, we have just the thing for you.
Join us for “Radicalizing the Remote” on January 27th at 12 pm – 1 pm EST, featuring three amazing women who have spent the last two years lighting up the internet with innovation and creativity aimed at social change.
Julie Hermelin (Cofounder Wake Up + Vote) will chat with Ishtar Lakhani (one of BBC’s ‘Top Women of 2020!) and Cristina Uribe (Director of Campaign, Center for Cultural Power). They’ll be sharing all they’ve learned about fresh and fun ideas for remotely developing and implementing creative actions that ignite change.
Radicalizing the Remote is the second in our Revolutionizing Activism series. The Center for Artistic Activism designed this new online conversation series to help people working on advocacy and activism discover new ideas and creative approaches to their work – and you’re invited. The first edition of Revolutionizing Activism – moderated by Fair Count’s Jeanine Abrams – was an energizing discussion about creative activism and joy as a tool to combat civic apathy. You can watch a recording of the livestream here.
