We’re now offering remote training supported by our tried-and-tested lessons, global team of some of the top practitioners in the world, and the Art of Activism book and workbook. The course is made up of six weekly meetings, very small class sizes, discussions, and exercises, as well as activities you can do on your own schedule throughout the week.
Designed to be conversational, fun, and dynamic, the weekly sessions are accessible, practical, and relevant to people at all levels of experience.
DATES: Tuesdays 12 – 2 pm EST, March 15 – April 19th. In addition to the weekly meeting times, there are weekly assignments (reading, exercises, and reflections). Those who complete the whole course can request a certificate as proof of attendance for employers.
We’re also offering optional office hours and study group times to do the work with fellow participants. Or just come and chat.
APPLYING: All are welcome to apply. Class sizes are limited, but sessions will be run throughout the year. Special consideration given to those working organizations supporting U.S. democracy. The application form is below and the deadline is March 4.
COST: Pay what you can, because the Center for Artistic Activism is a 501.3(c) non-profit education organization and we want to ensure ensure access for everyone! We’ll simply ask you donate what you are able at the end of the course.
This inaugural Art of Activism Learning Lab will be led by Center for Artistic Activism co-directors, Rebecca Bray and Steve Lambert. We’ll have additional support from our Workshop Leaders, including alumni of our past programs.
