Joyful. Vibrant. Safe. Sexy. Accessible. Inspiring. Irresistible.

Not the words people often associate with voting, especially not in 2023: when there are staggering challenges to voters and those who support them all across the country. When it’s so hard for so many to cast their ballot, make their voices heard, and protect their fundamental freedoms — especially in Georgia

But we know civic engagement and social justice work at large can be all those things — and must be all those things, to mobilize at the mass scale we need to make a more just state, country, and world.

At the Center for Artistic Activism, we help people use the powers of art to overcome incredible odds and build campaigns that win — and win big.

On Saturday, June 24, from 10am-12pm, join us and our partners at CoolCoolCool Productions and Out of Hand Theater for a hands-on workshop to learn how to combine the powers of art and activism to bring more creativity, innovation, imagination, and impact to the issues you care about most.

Fill out the brief form below to join us.

In Unstoppable Voters: Atlanta you will

  • learn the fundamentals of artistic activism and how to apply them to your social justice work
  • collaborate with other artists and activists to develop creative campaigns in support of Georgians
  • receive feedback and guidance from the Center for Artistic Activism, Out of Hand, CoolCoolCool Productions, and many more peers
  • leave with wildly creative and highly strategic ways to build the Atlanta we all need.

No previous experience required

You don’t need to be an “Artist.” You don’t need to be an “Activist.” You can be a seasoned advocate, new to this space, a professional creative, or someone who goes into a panic when they have to pick up a marker. No experience is required, beyond an openness to creativity and experimentation.

What is Unstoppable Voters?

Through the Center for Artistic Activism’s expansive Unstoppable Voters program, we support creatively risk-taking, strategic, ambitious organizations, people, and projects that address urgent and specific anti-voter attacks. We provide training and community building for individuals and groups who are passionate about protecting the freedom to vote and bringing the needed innovation to that fight. We also provide funding and support to help manifest that innovation and bring real, measurable impact. To date, we’ve helped over 80 organizations and over 1,000 individual activists, artists, and everyone in between make voting accessible, safe, joyful, powerful, and irresistible.
