Ewura applied these methods to pressing issues like illegal mining in Ghana, using subtle artistic pieces to inspire dialogue without directly naming individuals, sparking essential online conversations.
The training also strengthened Ewura’s role as a leader and educator. He later received a grant to train 30 activists in C4AA’s methods and integrated these approaches into his theater lectures at the University of Ghana. He describes the experience as one that opened doors and inspired innovative approaches in Ghana’s activist landscape.
Ewura credits C4AA with providing tools that continue to drive impactful, creative change in his community.
