Risë Wilson is committed to lifting up the essential role of creativity in equitable, thriving communities. She is the Founder of The Laundromat Project, an award-winning organization that seeks to connect artists and communities of color to their own capacity to envision the world in which they want to live, and the skills sets to make it so. Her twenty-year tenure in arts and culture has spanned philanthropic practice, strategic planning, artist development, and public engagement. She currently provides coaching and consulting to foundations and non-profits in these areas. She focuses on projects that apply creative practice to issues of racial justice. Risë holds a BA from Columbia University and a MA from NYU.

Risë Wilson acts as Senior Advisor at the Art for Justice Fund.
